The Bluegrass ChalleNGe Academy provides a second chance to 16-18 year old “troubled” youth. Those who have not yet graduated from high school and willing to make a voluntary life-changing decision toward enrollment into this 22-week military-style residential program are eligible.

 

BCA is a Kentucky Department of Education accredited A-5 (residential) public high school. The Kentucky National Guard and Eminence Independent School District have partnered together to make this a reality.  Cadets will have the opportunity to earn their academic credentials through 3 pathways:

 

1.    High School Diploma – available to students transferring with 16 or more credits and have a strong work ethic.
2.    Credit Recovery – available to students who have fallen behind grade-level and want to work toward a future high diploma.
3.    GED – available to 18-year-old students that have fallen too far behind to gain a high school diploma and are ready to begin their career.
